In a new revolutionary approach Doric Lenses has developed efficient process to inject light from 2 differents LED into a single optical fibre within a small package.

This novel micro-optic approach is well-suited for coupling of two LEDs of different colors into single multimode optical fiber. The coupling efficiency is dependent on diode type, fiber core diameter and its NA. It is also possible to combine a LED and a laser diode in the same package.

Applications : All kinds of illumination application, night vision and military in general, sensors, robotics, medical applications, industrial, telecom (fiber faults locators) etc.
