Axicons are optical components with at least one conical surface. It is possible to have different combinations of concave or convex conical surfaces on one side with plano or spherical surfaces on the other side, i.e., plano-convex, plano-concave, double convex, etc.
Cylindrical Lenses
Cylindrical lenses are used to shape light in one axis. They are commonly used as laser diode collimators and for laser diode to fiber coupling. Rod and doric™ GRIN lenses are used in ultra compact systems, while large radius are used when space is not limited.
Acylindric Lenses
Acylindric lenses are a group of cylindrical lenses having a surface with departure from pure radius in order to minimize aberrations in a specific application. Main application for acylindrical lenses is the collimation of highly divergent fast-axis of laser diodes (FAC lens).
Spherical Lenses
Doric lenses can provides ball or cut-ball lenses as well as larger radius standard spherical lenses.
Aspheric Lenses

Different custom beam splitters are available on request (50-50, 70-30, ...) and this for different incidence angle (0°, 45°, ...) and for any optical wavelength range.
Optical windows or filters are made of optically transparent materials with parallel polished sides, ground edges and chamfers. The only difference between windows and filters is degree of attenuation of the optical spectrum.
Wedges are an optical window with specific angle between the polished surfaces. The accurancy of the angle between surfaces can achieve 1 sec arc (0.0003°).
Fabry-Perot Etalons
Fabry-Perot etalons are made up of two parallel partially reflecting mirrors facing each other. The interference created by the mirrors acts as a filter which transmit only a series of resonnance peaks evenly distanced in frequency domain. The distance between mirrors defines the distance between peaks in frequency domain, while mirrors reflectivity define peaks width. High quality polishing (λ/20) and excellent parallelism (< 1 arcsec) ensure high finesse and transmission characteristics.
Different prisms are supplied by Doric Lenses; Coupling prisms, Right angle prism, Dove prisms, Equilateral prisms, Fresnel rhomboids, ... We are specialized in micro-prisms, but can supply larger prisms with high polishing quality as well.
