How do I choose the appropriate AR coating for my lenses??

All-around coatings:
As the name suggests, our all-around AR coating is uniform around cylinder lenses such as a rod lens, or our Doric GRIN cylindrical lens. Since all-around coatings are uniform, they make alignment that much easier.
However, we offer only narrowband all-around AR coatings. The range can be +/- 20 nm of a specified wavelength, and the reflectivity will be R < 0.5% for that range.
Two-sided coatings:
Two-sided coatings are used with any other lenses with more than one surface, but can also be used for rod lenses and Doric GRIN cylindrical lenses, and in those cases, a top and/or bottom ground is needed to help you for the alignment. Those grounds are quite small, and in no way they affect the clear aperture of the lenses.
These coatings are broadband, and there's a variety of wavelength ranges you can choose from, i.e. 400-700 nm, 600-900 nm, 750-1100 nm, etc. The reflectivity will be R < 0.5% for those ranges.
I hope this answers your question.
